I’m a nutritionist and certified weight loss expert.

After years of struggling with my weight, I lost 18 lbs (8kg) in just 2 weeks by replacing my regular meals with delicious homemade detox smoothies. My stomach flattened, my skin glowed, and my energy completely changed.

How it works

You only blend once per day.

The science behind a detox

It’s true that your liver and kidneys naturally detox the body, but in the modern world they’re working overtime. Everyday exposure to processed foods, excess sugar, additives, environmental toxins and stress can make it harder for your body to keep up. Over time, this can interfere with hormones, slow metabolism, and leave you feeling bloated, tired, sluggish and stuck when it comes to weight loss.

A smoothie detox gives your digestive system a break, while flooding your body with nutrients from whole foods. By temporarily removing heavily processed foods and focusing on nourishing smoothies, your body can begin to flush out built-up toxins, rebalance itself and give weight loss a natural boost, much like pressing a reset button.

Many people also notice that after 7-14 days, their taste buds reset, leading to a renewed appreciation for healthy foods. Processed foods and sugar can dull our sense of taste and keep us craving quick fixes, but once your body stops relying on them for fuel, it’s common to feel more energised, satisfied and in control. No. This detox is not designed to have a laxative effect. The ingredients are simply whole foods blended into smoothies, not harsh cleansing products. You’ll likely be more hydrated than usual, which may mean an extra trip to the bathroom here and there, but nothing that should cause an emergency dash during a meeting.

This detox is not recommended for:

• Anyone under 18
• Pregnant or breastfeeding women*
• Underweight individuals
• Those with medical conditions
• Anyone with relevant food allergies

If you have any health concerns, please consult your doctor before starting.

*While I do not officially recommend this detox for breastfeeding mothers, some customers do still choose to follow it. Feedback has been mixed, but several have reported that the 7-day detox did not noticeably affect their milk supply, whereas the 14-day detox sometimes reduced supply.

Everyone’s body is different, so if you are breastfeeding it is important to proceed with caution and speak with your doctor first.
